Sen. Armstrong:  Donations Accepted to Help Nickel Mines Victims

Senator Gibson Armstrong (R-Lancaster) is urging area residents to show their support for the victims and families of the West Nickel Mines Shooting by contributing to a number of funds and family assistance programs that have been established by local organizations.

"In the midst of our shock and grief the best thing we can do for those who are suffering is show our support," Armstrong said. "I am so grateful that so many community organizations have stepped up to help, and I urge those who can to make a donation or offer assistance to the families to do so."

Armstrong lauded the magnificent effort of the families of the Amish victims who have established a fund for the children of the perpetrator.

He said the following organizations are also taking cards, letters, and donations and other forms of assistance:
